Imagine there’s a life – your life. This life of yours has 10 great things about it, and 10 terrible things about it.

Let’s say you wake up in the morning and you think about those 10 terrible things – as you get ready for work, as you drive in your car, and as you sip your steaming mug of coffee – You’re thinking about those 10 terrible things.

Later you meet a friend for lunch and you talk about those ten terrible things. You discuss them in great detail – how they got there, why they are there, and how there’s nothing you can really do about them.

You get home from work and you’re feeling a bit low. (Imagine that!) Ah, you think – Oprah says I should journal – so you write for an hour all about your terrible life and especially those ten terrible things.

Your mom calls, and you spend the call compaining about those 10 terrible things. (Poor Mom)

Strange, but now you’re feeling downright miserable.

You end up fighting with your partner who accuses you of always being miserable. He doesn’t really feel like spending time with a miserable person so he goes out. Suddenly the ten terrible things became 11 terrible things. Your feel downright depressed because nothing EVER goes your way.

You spend the night on your own feeling unloved, unworthy and unhappy.

What’s Going On Here??

Your life is miserable because you took those 3 easy steps to living a terrible life!

You thought about the ten terrible things all day.

You spoke about the ten terrible things most of the day.

You wrote about the ten terrible things too.

And so – your reality became terrible…

*** It’s as simple as that! ***

(PS remember I said the life had 10 terrible things and 10 great things….. What if you took those same three steps with the great things?)

Start to consciously change your life, learning about yourself and taking small steps every day to creating a life that you’d never want to change!

Moving every day in a purposeful direction

and KNOWING where you want to go…

… will get you there…

After spending thousands of hours coaching people over the last 7 years it’s very clear to me that …

. . . the demand for a solid, comprehensive Life Mastery program was significant.

Consider These Facts: The top 5 regrets of people on their deathbeds are

I wish I’d had the courage to live a life true to myself, not the life others expected of me.

I wish I hadn’t worked so hard.

I wish I’d had the courage to express my feelings.

I wish I had stayed in touch with my friends.

I wish that I had let myself be happier.

Don’t do this to yourself!

Life Mastery is about dealing with issues NOW so that you don’t have those REGRETS later.

I am on a mission to empower people so they can transform their lives. I want to create a path to happiness and fulfilment and make it readily available for all people everywhere.

There are too many people who feel like their lives are ruling them, rather than them ruling their lives.

And because of this, I realize that an alternative way needs to be made readily accessible.

In my heart of hearts, I want Life Mastery to be readily available for all people everywhere. I’ve wanted this for a long time…

So I finally asked the simple question

Is anyone interested in a training course that would help you on a journey to Life Mastery?

Well, I got a resounding YES from all over the world.

You told me you wanted to change the way you’re running your life… … and that there are specific areas of your life that you’d like to work on …

… like creating confidence, becoming more organized, overcoming procrastination and improving communication!

… and that you want to have a meaningful and fulfilled life that you are consciously creating!

It doesn’t get much clearer than that!

A good number of you want to learn Life Mastery so that you get the very best out of what’s left of your life.

And many of you are like me … in that you FEEL this is hugely important. And that this is what you’ve been dreaming of… and yearning for, and that you’re prepared to go the full journey to get what you want!

BUT (the infamous “but” again)..,

If you’re At All Like I Was, You Have Fears About Starting…

What if you try all the techniques and you still procrastinate? What if you never feel competent and confident? What if you battle to put the theory into practice? What if you don’t feel like a success? What if you’re unable to “get” to the life you dream of?

What I Wanted When I First Started Coaching…

I designed my coaching sessions around the structure that I WISH I HAD when I was in my twenties and thirties and finding out about myself and life…

When I first started…

I wanted a step-by-step program on how to sort out the lives of my clients. What I discovered was that although each person was different and unique (obviously!!), there were some methods that worked well with most clients.

Over The Past Seven Years There Has Been Much I Have Discovered About People and What Works and What Does Not Work

So I’m Giving You A Comprehensive, All-Inclusive Training Program

to Start you On the Journey to Life Mastery

It’s very important to me that you get very best training possible so that you can have the biggest impact on your own world. And since my reputation will be on the line (I am an “all or nothing” professional) I wouldn’t dream of moving forward with anything less than a comprehensive, all inclusive training program with TONS of support and mentoring!

As one of you wrote ” Life is too short not to do what you want to do now!”

I couldn’t agree with you more. After spending days reviewing all of your requests and combining them with what I think it takes to master life, I have finally come up with ….

The Online Life Mastery Training Program!

The Online Life Mastery Training Program is a three month interactive, online program that will allay all your fears and give you everything you need to successfully master your life.

I won’t only be teaching you how to master your life, I will be showing you, supporting you, and mentoring you through the process from beginning to end.

Since I would like to see more and more people Master their Lives, all classes will be delivered via webinar or phone and will be recorded for easy access if you miss one.

There will be a membership site where the forum will be found as well as the class content, recorded classes and everything else you will need access to.

Here is a look behind closed doors: The Curriculum Will Include:

The absolute “must know” information about communication, goal setting and relationships

Several powerful, step-by-step methods to manage your time effectively

An inside look at how limiting beliefs are formed, how they sabotage our relationships, our finances, and our careers, and how to eradicate them for good

Membership to a support group who will be able to keep you on your toes during the process (and where you’ll be expected to do the same for the other members of the group)

Training for each core milestone to mastering your life. You’ll be given exercises to complete in preparation for the topic. Then the live webinar will explore and give you training on the topic, after which, you’ll commit to implementation actions within your support groups.

Regular group coaching sessions where I’ll personally be mentoring you for success with the program.

The Six Core Topics that will be covered are:

Casually Creating Confidence

How thoughts and language create reality

A new reality for you

The power of self love

Tricks of the trade

Know thyself!

Values

Limiting beliefs – the Master Saboteur

Habitual ways of being

A life you’d never want to change

Huge goals

Small steps

The movie in focus

The inner workings of relationships

What do you want

Getting what you want

Vicious Spirals vs Vital Spirals

Communication Know-How

What’s really happening in your head

Why communicating effectively is your responsibility

Talking about and processing what’s in your head

Time in a bottle

Effective emailing

Eradicate the procrastination plague

Back to basics (today or tomorrow)

And lastly you can take full advantage of my expertise as a coach!

How Much Will This Cost?

Creating a new product involves some startup costs. There are the costs for setting up the infrastructure, for the website development, fees for additional software, administration assistance and so on…

…then I’m going to need to cancel some plans, re-organize my schedule, and stop taking on new clients and other commitments for a few months.

So this program hasn’t been dirt cheap to develop.

In an effort to strike a balance between giving you the best training I can, and the training I think you need to be able to Master your Life and still make it affordable, I have decided that…

The full price of this comprehensive, all-inclusive 3 month training program will be R3000 ($375 US)

But Here’s How to Get 50% Off (“The First 40″ Program)

The first 40 people who enroll in the Online Life Mastery Training Program will get 50% off the price. That’s R1500 ($186 US)

Here’s The Trade-off..

As members of the first graduating class (or the “First 40″), I’ll want extra feedback and participation from you. I want you to give me lots of input on the content and how it is delivered, what content you would like me to spend more or less time on, and let me know as soon as possible if there is an online technological problem (and then be patient with me as I work to get it fixed quickly).

As part of the “First 40,” I’ll want your thoughts on our online learning environment, I’ll want you to heavily use the online peer-support forums and fill them with case studies and I’ll want you to fill out 2 to 3 additional surveys.

In this way you’ll help to make this program the very best it can be.

And In Exchange For This, You’ll Get 50% Off The Final Price

Oh yeah, you will also get special “First 40” status which will come with its own perks, like discounts on future products, classes and seminars.

If you’re serious about mastering your life and have a specific issue, we’ll get that handled too. I will offer you ONE individual phone/ Skype consultation with me for free so we can get YOU on the path to a life you never want to change… (Value R700)

Finally, if I am going to give you 50% off, you need to do your best to represent the community that we’re building and serve as an ambassador to others that want to change their lives.

The first class in The Online Life Mastery Training program will happen on Tuesday 24 April where we’ll start off with our first topic.

Between now and when classes start you’ll need to:

Introduce yourself on the forum.

Hold your first meeting with your support group.

Do the pre-prep work for the first topic “Casually Creating Confidence”

My Guarantee:

If at any time during your first two weeks with The Online Life Mastery Training Program, you feel that it isn’t the right fit for you, just send me an email with a copy of your first set of completed homework, and your tuition will be refunded, no questions asked.

I look forward to working with each of you individually!

REGISTRATIONS FOR THIS COURSE ARE CLOSED

AND WILL OPEN AGAIN IN A FEW MONTHS

So I got up REALLY early this morning (3AM, which is unheard of for me), made a cup of coffee and continued working on the “Master the Art of Confidence” Resource Kit. It’s incredible how much work can be done in 3 hours when there are NO interruptions whatsoever!!!

(to find out more about the origins of this kit see here)

(By the way, my family and my assistant start to get hugely nervous when I begin creating things. Because this usually means I end up working an insane number of hours at odd times, quick dinners and snacks from my favorite store, not enough focus on other aspects of my business and an unbalanced life – not that good for a Life Coach! Please don’t tell anyone…)

Anyway, I’m creating the “Master the Art of Confidence” Resource Kit for people who are interested in mastering their lives.

And, originally, the Resource Kit WAS going to cost R400 ($50). But, since (a) I really enjoy giving things away (b) it’s a way to thank you for all the great comments and feedback you’ve given me, and (c) I really think this work can benefit you and your friends … I’m going to just give this thing away.

At least for now. I may include it in an official Principles of Life Mastery training program in the future…I haven’t decided yet. So …

Here’s What I’d LOVE You To Do

If you are really serious about mastering your life and to be taught by me then I’d truly appreciate it if you’d click on this link and fill out this quick survey.

SURVEY LINK

It will take 2 minutes tops, probably less. This is so you can tell me what should be included in a Life Mastery Training Program. I want to hear exactly what YOU want.

And as a “thank you” you’ll get the product I’m creating right now for free (and you’ll get it soon!!). It’s that simple.

Anyway, I’d be so grateful if you’d click here and fill out my short survey.

SURVEY LINK

Thanks a ton. You are awesome!

Dream lofty dreams,

Kirsten .

My weekend was so special. I spent time with my Mom, my Mom-in-Law and my daughter. Oh, and a friend of mine and her ‘moms’ too. We went out for a special tea.(gorgeous view and lovely goodies to eat!)

I’m sure some of the Jozi people out there can guess where we went

The only sad part for me was that my other daughter was too far away to join us. I do miss her. (and my son of course)

Anyway, here’s …

An Update On My Life Mastery Training Program

Last Thursday I sent out an email asking if there were any people out there who’d be interested in a complimentary “Master the Art of Confidence” Resource Kit that I’m THINKING about making.

I didn’t want to make this thing if you didn’t want it… so I made an interest list to gauge the interest. (If enough people joined the interest list, I promised myself I’d make the kit).

Well. . . more people subscribed than I expected.

So I’m going to make the complimentary resource kit. If you’re on the interest list, you’ll be getting it on Friday.

The Final Call

Starting tomorrow, only people on the “Life Mastery List” will receive insider information on my upcoming Life Mastery Training Program and receive the free resource kit.

(Some people on my email list are only here for occasional inspiration and not because they’re potentially interested in a Life Mastery Training Program …so l want to be considerate of them and make sure that they don ‘t get bombarded with information they don’t want or need).

So if you want to get the resource kit that’s coming out on Friday, and all the all the good stuff I’ve got coming your way, I highly suggest you join the “Life Mastery Interest List” below now:

That’s It For Now

Well, I’m off to start work on that Resource Kit I promised you!

But rest assured that if you’re on the “Life Mastery Interest List” I’ll be hooking you up with lots of great help and information …

… and if you’re NOT potentially interested in the Life Mastery Program (and aren’t on the list) then, starting next week, you’ll continue to receive the original-type newsletters as before. And emails about the Life Mastery Program will die down.

Have a great week.

Exciting dreams,

Kirsten Long

[Note #1: So I’m thinking about giving away a free product for you . . . IF you’re potentially interested in mastering your life. It’s going to take some significant time to put together. But before I go crazy making this thing, I want to make sure you actually want it (so I don't feel like an idiot). More details near the bottom of the article.]

[Note #2: In case you’re wondering, this post is a FOLLOW UP TO THIS POST which received more comments and emails than ever before from South Africa to Australia to Canada and more. As far as I know, I responded to every comment, BTW]

The Story of How I Became a Life Coach

As most of you know from reading my newsletters, I have 3 teenagers: a son and two daughters..

I had a plan for my life and theirs!

First of all, I was going to be a stay at home Mom – and I did that. My husband and I prepared for this from the day we got married – by never spending my salary! We saved it every month, so that when the firstborn arrived, I could stop working and we wouldn’t ‘miss’ my salary. We followed this plan – and it worked too.

The next part of the plan was to get a teaching diploma so that I could teach at a private school and have my kids with me (with a discount for their fees too, of course!) Studying, and having babies at the same time was quite a night-mare. (BTW my husband was studying too) Somehow, miraculously, we survived those upside-down years. Sometimes, when I look at the videos we took in those days (3 kids under the age of four, studying, gardening, cooking, socializing and living life to the full) I wonder how on earth I DID all that. Teenagers are MUCH easier to my mind!

Where was I? Oh yes, I followed that part of the plan too. Found a job at a small private school in the country-side, took my kids with me every day, and got on with life. After a few years, I was head-hunted by a prestigious private school near where we lived, so the four of us (me and the 3 kids) moved school. Stressful, yes! But my kids now all agree that they have had the best school years possible. Hearing them say that makes my heart happy.

What I didn’t plan for, and think about was how it would be once my kids moved up into the senior grades of school (where I taught). Suddenly – it was not as much fun. Because the school was small, there was a strong possibility that I would teach my own kids. I definitely didn’t want that. I would never allow others to think that my kids got away with murder because MOM was the teacher, so I would probably be unreasonably hard on them. I realised, it wasn’t fair on them (or me) to stay teaching at school once they were seniors.

Now – I didn’t have a plan!

I knew what I didn’t want. I always tell my clients that this is a VERY GOOD starting point! I didn’t want to go and teach at another school. I was good at teaching, my students did really well, but there were things I did NOT ENJOY: the lack of flexibility as far as my time was concerned, and the politics in the staff room.

Time to get out, I decided.

Something else was going on in my life at about the same time – for a few years I had been having a little internal identity crisis of my own ( and maybe not that LITTLE!)

Kirsten was lost and needed to be found.

I responded to this mayhem by attending as many personal development courses that I could find or afford. This was a whirlwind of personal exploration and growth. I’m not sure it was that much fun for my family either…

Where I ended up was on a year long course on how to become a Life Coach. All the chaos in my life brought me to Life Coaching. The truth is, I didn’t even know what a Life Coach was!!

When I began coaching there weren’t very many of us in South Africa. No-one knew what a Life Coach was! I felt like a pioneer, always explaining passionately to people about this new-found career. I loved every minute of it.

My practice grew slowly and steadily. I realised that my years of experience (which is a polite way of saying that I have reached a mature age!), my personal journey and my thirst for knowledge were invaluable as I worked with clients, helping them to master their own lives.

Of course, today coaching is a well-established career. I get calls and mails every day, EVERY DAY, asking me how to become a coach. I get calls and emails every week, EVERY WEEK asking me to write articles, go on radio interviews and even on TV. I say YES to everything (almost) because I am driven to helping others to transform their lives – just as I have!

When I started I wasn’t sure how to structure my business or how to get more clients. I’m often amazed at how my practice grew and flourished because of the demand for this type of work.

I knew I wanted people to be motivated and happy and creating lives worth living. My passion for helping others and the rewards of acknowledgement from people out there is what kept me going.

In The End, And After Hard Work . . . All My Passion and Drive Has Paid Off

Back when I began doing all of this (by following my instincts a lot of the time) I never would have dreamed that . . .

I would have been a regular expert in Glamour Magazine SA, Kids News and Destiny

I would have my name in print in many other well-established magazines.

I would be interviewed by The Financial Mail

I would have coached a TV news anchor

Or that I would have clients who have transformed like caterpillars into butterflies

But In Addition To Being Humbled By The Impact I’ve had, I’ve Also Been Blessed to Have Created a Life for Myself that I Don’t Ever Want to Change

For example, I get to work FROM HOME – no traffic, no hassles.

I’m here when the kids (well now there is oinly one!) come home.

I love knowing that I’m making real and meaningful connections with people (and that those connections and can create dramatic changes for the better).

I never would have dreamed that I’d get to make my own choices about my time (so I could be more available for my children, especially after school now that they are teens).

And I never would have imagined that I would NOT have to do much traditional marketing . . . I just had to be excellent at what I did and that clients and friends would tell all their friends and my business and name would grow….

So Here’s What I’m Coming To . . . Here’s What’s Being Demanded Of Me . . . And Here’s What I Feel Compelled To Do . . . Here’s the deal.

People want better lives. People know there’s more to life; they just don’t know how to get it. Mostly, people want to feel that their lives are meaningful too.

I get emails, tweets and calls from people every day looking for guidance and advice. I was even called doctor the other day! Which I absolutely am not – but it made me smile…

Answering these pleas takes up lots of time, as does writing articles – but I do it. I can’t NOT reply.

So how do I make my thoughts, ideas, exercises, insights, experience and inspirations available to more people? How can I help many more people to master their lives without limiting my work to one person at a time?

And with each passing day, I’m finding over and over again that the need for transformation is great, but one-on-one coaching is not the answer for everyone.

There are often time issues, location issues and money issues. I’ve been toying with how to make coaching more accessible to more people, so that life mastery is not for the elite few who make it into my coaching room.

There are people all over the world who want more for their lives

There may be plenty of coaches out there, but many of them have only done a weekend course (sadly there are coaches out there who call themselves a coach but who have not even studied coaching at all!!) and have little experience

So I feel that I am being compelled to step up to the plate, to create a program on mastering life.

As one commenter in the last blog post wrote “it would do honor to your service to Humanity and would actually honor us all who’ve been helped directly by you.”

Another commenter points out that “Even when you only change the lives of a few, you change the lives of many.”

The time has come for a formal Life Mastery Program.

In my heart of hearts, I want you, and others, to lead meaningful lives; to have it all and to take the necessary steps to become masters of your own lives….

But the huge task of reaching the millions that need to be reached CAN NOT be done alone.

For Starters, I’m Thinking About Making A Free Resource Kit For You, If You’re Interested in Mastering your Life.

I’ve been really humbled by the buzz surrounding my last blog post. There has been A LOT of interest in the life mastery training program that I’m POTENTIALLY developing.

But to test the waters . . . I’m thinking about making a value packed, 100% free “Master the Art of Confidence” Resource Kit for you. IF you’re serious about transforming your life…

Here is what the free “Master the art of confidence” will include:

A never-before released to the public talk on the power of loving yourself and the three simple steps to change your life

Stories of real people (names withheld for obvious confidential reasons!!!) and case studies about how they have grown their confidence

A questionnaire I’ve honed with clients over the past 7 years to help you pinpoint the exact changes to make a lasting difference in your life

A list of some of my favourite recommended reading on building confidence

But Here’s The Catch. Because I hate wasting time and because I feel so passionate and will inevitably blog this thing way out of proportion and make it into a much bigger package than it needs to be (or you even want) . . . . . . I want to get a list of everyone who is interested in mastering their lives and having this free “Master the Art of Confidence” Resource Kit.

So Here’s What I Want You To Do

I’m making a list of everyone potentially interested in getting my free resource kit AND getting in at the start of all this.

Anyway, if you’re interested, then:

(1) enter your email address below, and if I end up making it I’ll send it to you at the email address you list below (leaving a comment with any suggestions on what you’d like get from the kit would also help).

If enough people get on this “interest list” (I’m thinking 100 or more) then I’ll make this free thing and send it to EVERYONE on the interest list. If no one wants the free “Master the Art of Confidence” Resource Kit, then no worries.

Exciting dreams always,

Kirsten

Note: In case you’re wondering, this post is a follow-up to this (which received more emails than I’ve ever received). I try my best to respond to each and every one BTW].

Ok… so I’m getting a LOT of cries from readers upset with me about that cliff hanger in my previous email and blog post.

Sorry about that. Perhaps the teenage drama in my house is contagious (yikes).

Anyway, I’ve been feeling reluctant to talk about something. But it’s *long overdue* so here goes …

As you may or may know, the number of queries I get for help (and for writing requests) is almost out of control (in the best possible way).

When I first started coaching over 6 years ago … I never in a million years DREAMED I’d have the opportunity to have the impact I’ve had.

Anyway, every once in a while it freaks me out a little, but I’ve been blessed to have helped many people transform their lives for the better.

And I’ve been deeply touched — and so many times moved to tears — by all the beautiful emails, letters, gifts, hugs you’ve sent over the years (and from all over the world).

On one touching occasion, I was given a special gift all the way from Japan (it’s times like this that make everything worth a 100 times over)! The gift sits on my desk as I write this, reminding me to persue my dreams.

And boy, have I learned a lot!!

So here is what I have been holding out on doing….

I’ve been:

Nicely asked,

gently persuaded,

begged and

pleaded with

to share the accumulation of what I have learned over the last 7 years.

For YEARS I’ve resisted consolidating the stuff I’ve learnt.

I made the usual mundane excuses like “I don’t have enough time” and “I’m too busy with my own coaching practice to actually get this out to others.” And I’m embarrassed to admit that, as my coaching practice grew

… I wondered if sharing what I have learnt would actually HURT my own practice and result in fewer clients. I also wondered if I was even capable of consolidating everything I’d learned in over 6 years of doing this. (Day in and day out, now, I’m realizing just how small this kind of thinking was). I certainly wouldn’t let a client of mine get away with small thinking like this!!!

Oh. And I’m also a bit of a perfectionist.

Ok “a bit” is an understatement …I’m a FULL BLOWN perfectionist.

And because I’ve given up all hope of fixing this, I realized that I simply cannot go half-way with this. As far as I am concerned – its **all the way** or not at all.

How I am Learning From The Past

Before I wrote my book, people kept saying “Kirsten you MUST write a book” and I thought “But every person is different, every situation unique, how will I address everything?”

But I DID go onto write a book. And the next book is almost there too!

It would have been small minded of me to NOT write a book. And I’m beginning to think that not sharing what I know about mastering life (out of fear that it will impact my own business) is just as small minded.

So I’m Seriously Considering Doing This

Despite my fears, hesitancies, and perfectionism, I am seriously considering pulling back the curtain and showing you just about everything I know about mastering life.

And sharing stuff I’ve never publicly shared with ANYONE about personal growth.

(I would have LOVED to have had this information when I was young!)

If I Do This, It Will Be A LOT of Work

I’m excited about sharing stuff with you, but I’ve been around long enough to know that my small projects quickly get out of hand and turn into big ones.

So I only want to do this if there’s enough interest. So I want to know…

What do you think?

Should I do this?

Would you be interested?

Your feedback and thoughts are absolutely the fuel that keeps me going.

And I don’t want to even think about doing this unless there’s enough potential interest.

Anyway, if you have a second, please leave a comment below and let me know what you think.

It would mean a lot to me, and I’ll do my best to respond to each and every comment.

Dream big always,

So, in most blog posts I send out inspirational thoughts and ideas for you.

Well… today is a bit different.

I want pull back the curtain a little bit and share something more personal.

Here goes: I was recently in Cape Town celebrating my son’s 21st birthday. My close friends know that I love to CELEBRATE milestones (mine and my extended family’s). It’s so important to take the time to acknowledge a person, to be grateful for what has been, and to think about what could be. What better time than on some one’s birthday? This got me thinking about how I could share some of this with you.

You will see why as you read further.

All my closest friends know that I share my birthday with my husband! While it’s quite unusual, we are so used to it by now – after all we’ve celebrated over 20 birthdays together. We always celebrate our birthday and our children’s birthdays….even if I don’t like how fast life is going and how quickly I am getting older.

For me, I think of a birthday as a time of reflection, of allowing the new, and leaving behind the old and the stale.

I think about my past year and what I want to change, to do and to accomplish in my new year…personally and professionally. My friends celebrate with me and together we think about where our lives are going.

Here are just a few examples of goals I’ve made in previous years:

Places to travel (I climbed Kilimanjaro and made it to the top! I walked in Tuscany and visited the Serengeti)

Getting a personal trainer who comes to our home – we can’t avoid him!

Trying a new sport (I cycled the 94.7 cyle race once and decided I didn’t need to prove myself again)

Take each of my children out for a meal on our own for their birthdays – much more difficult now they’re not staying at home

Working less (I’m pretty good at NOT working over weekends, but it’s still jolly hard to switch off and ignore my laptop after dinner during the week)

Meditate daily even if it is only for 5 minutes (not so good at this!)

Read a coaching book daily (much better at this!)

Keep email time to 1 hour per day (a constant battle)

Write another book (almost done)

Go on dates with my husband

… and the list goes on.

Some big goals and some small, but all with the intention of creating something new. Moving up a notch so to speak.

Anyway, even though this year was a milestone for my son and not me, it felt hugely different.

I’ve found myself having BIG paradigm shifts in my life and the way I look at my business. And I don’t think it’s a midlife crisis (OK it probably did start when I hit a BIG milestone last year…so maybe??).

Maybe it’s the looming empty nest…or maybe it is my age…or maybe it’s the beginning of a new season….who knows!

You may be asking, “Kirsten, why are you telling us this now?”

What I didn’t tell you is that I made this year about YOU!!

I’m serious.

As many of you have noticed, I am revamping the way I do business and am focusing on what YOU have told me recently and over the years that you would like to see me offer or address.

Hence: the tweets, the more frequent newsletters, the updated blog, the free coaching session for potential clients and the “Magic Motivation” e-book. I even have sweets in my coaching room for comfort in case it was a tough coaching session!

There’s still more to come! I am always interested to know what you wish for me to provide, so keep the ideas coming!

But (the infamous “But”)…

There is one REALLY BIG request that I’ve been holding back on taking action on, despite knowing the impact it would have on the world.

I’m contemplating changing my mind and giving you what you’ve been asking for…

But I’m nervous because it means sharing with you more of myself and my business than I have in the past.

And I’m also going to need your help.

Anyway, that REALLY BIG request is … (stay tuned until next time)
